Welcoming Dr. Emir Halilagic to the Dahlstrom Dental Team – Coming Summer 2025

 We’re excited to share some great news: Dr. Emir Halilagic will be joining the Dahlstrom Dental team in June of this year.

 Originally from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Dr. Emir brings with him a strong academic background and a passion for dentistry. He earned his Bachelor of Science and his Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) from the University of Manitoba’s College of Dentistry. Dr. Emir is enthusiastic about all aspects of dental care, with particular interest and expertise in endodontics (root canals), prosthodontics (crowns and bridges), and extractions.

 During a visit to the Cowichan Valley in 2024, Dr. Emir fell in love with the area’s beautiful scenery, peaceful beaches, and mild winters—making it an easy decision to make the Valley his new home.

 When he’s not caring for patients, Dr. Emir enjoys painting, hiking, and staying active at the gym.

 Renovations to expand our clinic, into the adjacent space currently occupied by Duncan Pharmacy, will also begin this summer with a fall completion and opening anticipated.

 As of June 9th, 2025 our new regular hours of operation (excluding holidays) will be:

 Dr. Dahlstrom: Monday to Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

 Dr. Emir Halilagic: Tuesday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
